Interested in learning or refreshing your LA-Style Salsa? If you have some experience in Cuban salsa (or any other couple dance), then this workshop is for you! It’s also for you if you want to switch roles — you know how to lead, but have never followed, or the other way around — or if you haven’t danced LA-style salsa for a while and need a refresher.
In this two-hour workshop (with a break), we take you through all of the main LA patterns, with a special focus on technique and how it differs from Cuban Salsa. We cover the emphasis, feeling, and leading, and go through the main steps: the cross-body lead, left and right turns, and the titanic — with time at the end for practice.
This workshop also sets you up for the improver or intermediate-level classes starting September 2nd: use it to figure out whether you’d prefer to do the basics in more detail, or skip to the higher level.

Good to know
Maximum 20 participants. Please arrive a few minutes early — classes start on time. Car parking is not allowed in the courtyard; public paid parking is available on Heimdalsgade. Outdoor shoes or shoes that can scratch or leave marks on the floor are not allowed inside the studios.
